Robbers with DIY explosives fail to blow open ATMs

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 20 ?Three robbers failed in their internet million dollars to open an automated teller machine (ATM) using homemade explosives at a bank in Putra Heights, Puchong, this morning.

A security guard whose name was withheld, was shocked to hear a loud noise at the ATMs of the bank at 8.30am and quickly triggered the alarm.

The suspects, believed to be in their 30s, fled empty handed when the alarm was triggered.
